"A simple" pull out of ditch and tow to driveway", turned nightmare! Out of 4 different claims reps , 3 different claims reported and 12 tow truck drivers ! No one could help me get my truck back ! 4 weeks of back and forth and my truck sat frozen in ground! State police eventually were called and they ripped it out of ground and delivered it to junk yard ! After multiple days and damages to truck ! No one had any answers! I gave up! Then Katie called and immediately she took charge of the situation! She went above and beyond to answer my questions and lessing my worries . She helped me sleep better at night and got my truck back and made sure the process went smoothly! Katie gets a gold star and more ! I also feel like I've made a new friend in life ! "Tom is a pleasure to work with. I switched all my policies over to him a few years ago (auto, boat, condo, home, rental, life, umbrella)...and it was far more seamless a transition than I expected. Overall, I saved some money. Most important, we just had a car accident in the middle of bad winter weather...at the busiest time for tows, insurance, auto repair shops. I didnt know what to do or how to handle it, and had to get my daughter picked up at school shortly after it all happened....and he sat on the phone with me until I picked up my wife, assessed the damage to her car, got a tow truck, found an auto shop, and opened the claim for me. He then followed up with the repair shop on next steps afterwards, and it isn't even a State Farm 'approved' shop (difficult to find an available shop on a day with a ton of car accidents)... so he took on the extra administrative work himself to see it all through. This is where having a real life person to talk to, that has an office right down the street, really pays off. I would've wasted an entire day/night figuring this out (at the very least), and would have been even more stressed than I already was. I was actually able to get the car to a shop within an hour, and back to my work meetings that I was almost certain I was going to have to clear off the rest of the day. Just a big load off my mind. I receive poor customer service from a majority of companies I work with...it's great to see the exact opposite when it comes to my insurance, and Tom. You don't know how valuable having a real local person is, until you absolutely need it."
